David Bowie and other heroes

David Bowie and other heroes tour

the Cold War is a magnificent collection of artists and bands from Britain and the United States, who came to Berlin to record albums, to be inspired and some to even live there. Like David Bowie, who lived there between 1976 and 1979 in a rented apartment on the main street in the Schöneberg neighborhood with a "quiet, introverted" partner named Iggy Pop. In the studios at Putzdemerplatz, masterpieces were recorded along with experimental albums by Bowie, Iggy Pop, U2, Depeche Mode and Nick Cave. Alongside the sites on the route, the trip will also include anecdotes that relate to the experiences of those artists in Berlin

You can be hero too...

On the trip, we will tour stations (station to station, so to speak) connected to David Bowie's works, which were an inspiration to his songs, like the Berlin Wall referred to the legendary masterpiece:  Heroes.

Where he recorded his Berlin albums, where he picked up a performance that contributed to the fall of the wall. And, of course, we will make a pilgrimage to where David Bowie has lived for three years.

During the trip, we will impress from a fascinating exhibition of urban art
as long as it is possible from the side of the gallery.

The tour is recommended for fans of music, art and history.
